	first, look for R.U. in the search category. it will come up with about 30 different selections. look for the one that says 1, 17. when it asks to replace 17 with what, type in 9999 that will give you about 40,000 base metals in your minerals hold. then go to the captain and sell them. the only thing about this is, you can only do it once since you modify that location. any higher than 9999 will freeze your game when you try to save. you can also modify your crew number too, but then you cannot buy crew after that. look for 1, 38. then change it to 999. this will give you 24,000 crew membersw on your ship. also, look for 1, 33 and change 33 to 999. tyhis will give you all of the alien artifacts. all these codes have to be done after you go to mercury to get the radioactives and first saved your game. the best hex editor that i have used so far is Hacker 2.0, it has a hex editor and a hacker program for games all in one. also, you have to use the artifacts before you save your game or you will lose them.
