The '''Procyon II Starbase''' is a ''non-canonical term'' for the [[Ur-Quan]]-built [[Starbase]] that has been in orbit of Procyon II since the surrender of both the [[Chenjesu]] and [[Mmrnmhrm]], cerca 2134, in the [[Ur-Quan Slave War]].

After the Chenjesu and Mmrnmhrm initiated [[The_Process#The_Process|the Process]] to become one hybrid race, the starbase crew retreated from the installation to the planetary surface. This would imply that the races had the technology to disable the [[Slave Shield]], at least locally.

The base continues to be maintained and defended by simple, preprogrammed robots. Considering that the Mmrnmhrm are a mechanical race, one could argue that the base is not actually abandoned.
