Point-Defense Laser

A Point-Defense Laser is a module available for The Flagship. It is weak and has very short range, but targets automatically and fires quickly. Adding multiple Point-Defence Laser modules improves its performance. However, any more than eight will do no good.

When a ship has some form of point defense, a computer-controlled Orz Nemesis will not launch marines, and a computer-controlled Ur-Quan Dreadnought will not launch fighters.

Each point defence laser does a damage of 1 and uses 4 units of energy.
