Isn't Rigel supposed to be the alternative name for Beta Orionis(Umgah home star)?
Apparently not. Beta Orionis is a green star at 197.8/596.8 in hyperspace while Rigel is a an orange star at 210.4/208.3.
The OP does have a point. According to wikipedia:Rigel the star is the same. But as the story within SC2 is that the stars as seen from HyperSpace are the reused TrueSpace names, it looks like the same name is just used for two different stars. Perhaps a remark in the Rigel and Beta Orionis pages that unlike in TrueSpace, the names refer to two different stars would be appropriate.
