Talk:Taalo

I've never beaten SCII, and in fact am in my first play through. (Yes, I know I'm a horrible person for even reading the page on the Taalo.) Based on the picture of the neo-Dnyarri/Talking Pet, I would say that the quote about rolling Dnyarri children is more a comment on the physiology of the Dnyarri than that of the Taalo.

There is no reason to take that quote as an indication that Taalo locomotion may have been rolling based; all it indicates is that the Taalo had the physical ability to roll a Dnyarri onto its back like a turtle in the sun.

The quote in question is "For fun, they would take one of our children... and then... roll over it!... again and again, oh!" I've always interpreted this to mean that the Taalo rolled over the young Dnyarri. Now if it had said "roll it over" then the meaning changes to a Taalo being able to roll Dnyarri over onto its back like you describe. --Fyzixfighter 14:54, 7 February 2006 (CET)

I've added a sentence and made a small change to this section. Everything that the Neo-Dnyarri says should be taken with a grain of salt, and while he may be describing a means of locomotion for the Taalo, he just as well could be trying to spread some undue animosity by stretching the truth.
