| A footnote here refers to specific pages of the SC2 manual. But there are several variants of the manual, presumably each with different numberings. I know that at least the numbers mentioned here don't match what I've got in the .pdf file that came with my copy.

| So we'd either need to decide on some standard edition, specifically mention which version is used, or leave out the page numbers altogether (and perhaps mention the section title).

| Oh, the reference was to the SC '''1''' manual. There may not be a problem after all. (Then again, there still might be). — [[User:Svdb|SvdB]] 08:42, 21 October 2006 (CEST)

| :Blast, you beat me to it! My guess would be that variations, if any, are probably by platform. I've got .pdf copies of a PC SC1 manual, a PC SC2 manual, the 3DO manual. If the variations are by platform, I think stating the platform (PC, Sega Genesis, 3DO) should be enough to identify the manual. Using section titles can be a bit awkward and harder to look up. --[[User:Fyzixfighter|Fyzixfighter]] 09:11, 21 October 2006 (CEST)

| In the 3DO manual (specifically page 32), it reads "Syreen scientists have developed a psionic amplifier that compels even the most hostile alien to serve his Syreen ship captain with perfect faithfulness." Should this be included somewhere in the article? -- Anonymous
