The Combat Dynamo module augments the combat batteries that the SIS uses to power its weapons during battle. It works by increasing the rate at which energy is fed into the batteries, allowing them to reach full capacity more quickly. Installing more than four dynamos has no effect.
Shiva Furnaces also help you to be able to fire more often. But while Combat Dynamos increase the rate at which energy is restored, Shiva Furnaces increase the amount of energy restored at each recharge. For best effect, you should therefore install a combination of the two for best results. See SIS Energy Management for details.
