Is IDF just for hyperspace to quasispace jumps? If so, what is the technology called for entering hyperspace then? I, too, had always assumed IDF was just for q.space, until I read an earlier version of this article (which I then expanded on). Then, the description of "traveling between dimensions" seemed to fit pretty well into the description of entering h.space, so I went with it. It's been so long since I played SC2, and I don't remember these details to well; but this article contained some interesting information, and I'd hate to see all of it disappear, particular if the "IDF = q.space" assumption is incorrect.
