Point-Defense Laser

A Point-Defense Laser is a module available for the SIS. It is very short range and weak, but targets automatically and fires quickly. Building multiple Point-Defence Laser modules improves its performance. However, any more than 8 will do no good.

When a ship has some form of point defense, a computer-controlled Orz Nemesis will not launch marines, and a computer-controlled Ur-Quan Dreadnought will not launch fighters.
