Hellbore Cannon

When it comes to powerful weapons, the first thought of many starfarers is the Ur-Quan Dreadnought's Plasma Fusion Gun, but the Hellbore Cannon is just as powerful. It is unclear whether the Melnorme developed this weapon or if it is of Precursor origin. No matter, it was the most powerful weapon module available for The Captain's Precursor Flagship.

It can be made at a cost of 6000 RU, and the technology must be purchased from the Melnorme. Be warned, however, that it takes a massive amount of energy to fire, and without enough Combat Dynamos or Shiva Furnaces, the SIS will be left defenseless while it waits for enough energy to recharge.
