Crew Pod
The Crew Pod modules are used to house crew members for the manpower in battles, for the lander crews of planetary exploration missions, and if you are so-minded, for slave trade with the Druuge. These modules are composed of living quarters and extra life-support equipment, and can support up to 50 crewmen per module. The Crew Pods cost 2000 RU each, and it is recommended that The Flagship have at least one pod at all times lest The Captain is the only one aboard the ship.
