The Crew Pod modules are used to hold extra crew members for extra manpower in battles, reinforcements for dangerous planet exploration, and if you are so-minded, for slave trade to the Druuge. They are composed of living quarters and extra life-support equipment, which can support up to 50 crewmen per module. The Crew Pods cost 2000 RU each, and it is recommended that The Flagship have at least one pod at all times (God forbid that The Captain would be the only human aboard the ship!).
