Epsilon Scorpii I is the homeworld of the Mycon; the Mycon refer to this planet as the "Source of Juffo-Wup. This world is now a Shattered World, possibly transformed by the first use of a Mycon Deep Child, and its original form is unknown.

Speculation

As the Mycons were supposedly genetically engineered as terraforming tools, it is possible that this world was originally some uninhabitable sort of world that was terraformed (by the Mycon) into a Water World, then later retransformed into a Shattered World once the Mycon's programming had strayed.
