Hellbore Cannon

When it comes to powerful weapons, the first thought of many starfarers is the Ur-Quan Dreadnought's Plasma fusion cannon, but the Hellbore Cannon does just as much damage. It is unclear whether the Melnorme developed this weapon or if it is of Precursor origin. Either way, it is the most powerful weapon module available for The Captain's Precursor Flagship — it does fifty percent more damage than the Fusion Blaster module, and just seven shots can take down a Dreadnought or a Kohr-Ah Marauder.

It can be made at a cost of 6000 RU, and the technology must be purchased from the Melnorme. Be warned, however, that it takes a massive amount of energy to fire, and without enough Combat Dynamos and Shiva Furnaces, The Flagship will be left defenseless while it waits for enough energy to recharge.
