Katana is the sole known surviving Shofixti male in the galaxy. After the massive immolation of the Delta Gorno star wiped out the Shofixti race and a third of the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za battle fleet, Katana patrols the burnt out star-system that the Shofixti once called home.
Katana's Scout craft is severely damaged from the explosion and his sensors no longer accurately show data. If confronted by a large vessel, he goes into a battle-rage thinking the Ur-Quan have returned.
