StarRunner is the name of Captain Fwiffo's Eluder ship. After the Spathi contingent of the Earthguard forces abandoned their moon base, the separate ships functioned as a jury-rigged base as they migrated from planet to planet. Finally the whole fleet withdrew to Spathiwa except the StarRunner, which became the de facto base of the Earthguard, crewed and captained only by the hapless Fwiffo. Fwiffo and the StarRunner eventually withdrew to Pluto, where the human crew of The Flagship discovered him.
Optional events
The Captain convinces Fwiffo to join his fleet. Recrewed by Starbase personnel under Fwiffo's direction, the StarRunner and its captain served with distinction in the Second War as part of The Captain's personal fleet.
