Am I missing a meaning of the word "protocol" here?

wasnt a certain chris present at the 2003 tfb chat? dont know his full name, so i'll not add him to the list myself

TFB?

I must have missed the explanation of TFB. Could someone point it out? —67.23.31.167 01:21, 5 September 2006 (CEST)

Title change

Anyone objects to changing the title to "IRC chats with Toys for Bob"? "Chat protocols" sounds weird. Plus, I don't like abbreviations in titles. Valaggar 17:16, 16 June 2007 (CEST)

I'm not really that sure if "IRC chats" is that redundant. "Internet relay chats" sounds forced, and "IRCs" or even "IRC" doesn't convey the same meaning ("IRC with Toys for Bob"). It's not like "LCD display".
And IRC is an abbreviation, yes, but it's different, since it's the official name (like in "laser"), not just a name simplification - or I think so.
Plus, look at the two sections above to see some people's problems with "TFB" and "protocols". Valaggar 20:06, 16 June 2007 (CEST)
