The rainbow worlds wern't used as dumping grounds by the precursors, they were used as dumping grounds by the Owa in Star Control 3. I have stricken that line, re-add it if you wish. Check your sources first though. Officially there is no known purpose for the rainbow worlds. Tssha 13:24, 21 Dec 2004 (CET)

If that "rotation" means rotation around a Sun (Beta Corvi) - precursors a gone by a millions earth years ago.
