I really agree with Fyzixfighter's comments from 2007.  alas, i hav already made a few pages with official sounding titles, like Supox-Utwig Alliance and Second Doctrinal Conflict (so sorry Fyzixfighter).  i tried hard by adding "is a non-canonical term" to the opening sentence and i hope that works out.  i dont kno how to rename pages.  Donutcity (talk) 04:41, 17 July 2015 (CEST)

ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Felix rapidly strengthened into a dangerous Category 5 hurricane and churned through the Caribbean Sea on a path toward Central America, where forecasters said it could make landfall as “potentially catastrophic” storm.

Felix was packing winds of up to 165 mph as it headed west, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. It was projected to skirt Honduras’ coastline on Tuesday before slamming into Belize on Wednesday.

“As it stands, we’re still thinking that it will be a potentially catastrophic system in the early portions of this week, Tuesday evening, possibly affecting Honduras and then toward the coast of Belize,” said Dave Roberts, a hurricane specialist at the center in Miami.

Moved from discussion of Battle at Antares[edit]

I'm a little worried that the title for this article sounds like an official name (like Battle at Draco or Ur-Quan Slave War or <cringe>Second War</cringe>). I don't think this offensive is ever referred to with an official name in the canon, but then again, I might have missed this. That said, is there a better title for this, perhaps something more general like the Supox and Utwig offensive against the Kohr-Ah, thus including the Horologii front. If we can be a little more general, it opens up the possibility of creating accurate and appropriate names for articles on other notable events in the game that lack actual names, such as the Thraddash offensive against the Kohr-Ah, the Ilwrath jihad, and the Pkunk migration. Thoughts? --Fyzixfighter 04:22, 5 April 2007 (CEST)

You make a good point. And the information about the Battle at Antares and the Battle at Horologii should be placed in the context of the S&U offensive anyhow.
BTW. "Battle at Antares" is the subtitle of Master of Orion 2.— SvdB 05:34, 5 April 2007 (CEST)

Yeah, I've been thinking about it myself, but I'm so lazy... What title to put, anyway? "The Supox and Utwig Offensive Against the Kohr-Ah" is too long. What about merging the article with the Utwig article? Valaggar 12:23, 5 April 2007 (CEST)

I don't know - I don't mind a long title, and "Supox and Utwig offensive against the Kohr-Ah" sounds about right to me. It's kind of hard to get a short title when dealing with an event with no given name. However, it might be hard to find for people looking for the information - but redirects and links from the Utwig and Supox page should help with that. I'd rather not merge it with the Utwig page since this also involves the Supox. Just my 2 cents though. --Fyzixfighter 15:38, 5 April 2007 (CEST)

If you agree, it's OK. Here I go... (Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...) Valaggar 20:53, 5 April 2007 (CEST)

I like it. I changed the title just a tad to remove the initial definite article and un-capitalized the non-proper nouns. That's usually the convention, and thus it's obvious that it's not an official name. Also I copied over the discussion page (hope that doesn't tick anyone off). Usually it comes over if you use the "move" tag when moving a page - but I can't remember if every editor has that or just the admin and sysops.
Ah, indeed, I could have used the move tag. Valaggar 07:50, 6 April 2007 (CEST)
