A footnote here refers to specific pages of the SC2 manual. But there are several variants of the manual, presumably each with different numberings. I know that at least the numbers mentioned here don't match what I've got in the .pdf file that came with my copy.

So we'd either need to decide on some standard edition, specifically mention which version is used, or leave out the page numbers altogether (and perhaps mention the section title).

:Blast, you beat me to it! My guess would be that variations, if any, are probably by platform. I've got .pdf copies of a PC SC1 manual, a PC SC2 manual, the 3DO manual. If the variations are by platform, I think stating the platform (PC, Sega Genesis, 3DO) should be enough to identify the manual. In the 3DO manual (specifically page 32), it reads "Syreen scientists have developed a psionic amplifier that compels even the most hostile alien to serve his Syreen ship captain with perfect faithfulness."  Should this be included somewhere in the article? -- Anonymous
