Tishtushi is a name mentioned once by the Arilou Lalee'lay colonel Faffywaffy in the Star Control manual, as part of the phrase "receive Tishtushi's Blessing". This may indicate that Tishtushi is a part of present or past Arilou mythology, or the phrase may simply be used for rhetorical purposes.
Tishtushi is also one of the random captain names in the PC and Amiga versions of Star Control, appearing as Tiptushi in the Genesis version and Star Control II.
