YAX

YAX was a VUX commander in the defense fleet at the VUX homeworld, Beta Luyten I. After The Captain had made several visits to the VUX homeworld (most likely in an entirely unsuccessful attempt to reason with them), YAX contacted The Captain personally to congratulate him for "plumbing the limits of VUX courtesy, which you have now exhausted", and to express how much his team had all enjoyed taunting him. He ordered his team to attack shortly after hailing The Captain - it is not known whether YAX himself participated directly.
