Purpose of this page

This page looks like a near perfect copy of List of alien artifacts. The only difference I can find is that it doesn't include the planet-side images. What is the purpose of this separate page which the original does not fulfill, or are there other differences that I'm missing? If it's because "Devices" is the menu option that accesses these then I'd rather just see this be a redirect to the first page. --Fyzixfighter 19:10, 21 January 2009 (CET)

Indeed, this list was supposed to be the list of devices that could be gathered ('Devices' section of The Flagship's manifest). I was searching for 'Devices' on this wiki and was rather surprised when I didn't find such one on the top of the search results. Only several titles lower did I saw an article about StarCon Humor. There was link to 'List of Alien Artifacts' article under the mask 'List of devices'. But I won't argue if you choose to redirect this new article to the other one if it is appropriate. It's just simply what may cause surprise in the eyes of new players, when they see article with such title. Although, I think, it would make sence, if the Category 'Devices' would exist, seeing as these AA are, indeed, devices. Masterius 17:54, 23 January 2009 (CET)

After some thought, I think the best thing to do would be to move List of alien artifacts to List of devices, and a similar move for the category. I've asked for some feedback on this option (Talk:List of alien artifacts#Renaming list and category) - we'll see if that turns up any concerns. If there are no strong objections, I'll probably do the move in about week (IMO that's adequate time for others to comment). --Fyzixfighter 02:07, 24 January 2009 (CET)
