I don't know... is there a reason for having an article for this? I know Gaea's reasoning was that it is a weapon used by the Androsynth... but it was probably an ad-hoc improvisation (their ships don't use this anymore). And we don't know anything about those weapons except when and where they used them, which is harder to understand outside of the context of the Androsynth article. And after all we don't have an article about each ship's primary and secondary. Valaggar 08:42, 4 July 2007 (CEST)

Agreed. MASER is far to general and not specific to any SC lore. Does this mean we need to create an article for "LASER", too? It's a similar acronym. Mention it in the Androsynth article, and if people feel like it needs a link to the wp article, then do that. --Fyzixfighter 20:47, 4 July 2007 (CEST)
