Division of Synthetic Special Reconstruction, Intergalactic Intelligence (DSSRII) was a division of Star Control responsible for compiling ship and personality profiles of the various Hierarchy Races during the Ur-Quan Slave War. By the standards in Star Control 2, the profiles were horribly incomplete and biased, but they were proof of Human ingenuity.

The division was assembled in a secret security lab in Europe, outfitted with high-tech graphics and post-animation software. Each team was assigned a single Hierarchy race, using data gathered from ship debris.
