Daikon is the name of a prominent hero in Shofixti mythology. Little is known about the hero, other than that it was prophesied that Daikon would return one day in the future. With regards to this future event, Tanaka states "I await the return of the hero Daikon and the rebirth of my species," possibly indicating that Daikon's return is closely associated with a rebirth of the Shofixti species. Tanaka also mentions Daikon when he mistakenly identifies and swears to kill The Captain. Daikon is also a Shofixti Scout captain name.
