Content to Hover is the name of a Slylandro Speaker who spoke with The Captain from his homeplanet of Source during the course of the Second War of the Alliance. Content to Hover is an ancient, wise being, over 20,000 years old. He knows much about the other old races, who have visited the Slylandro homeworld in the past. He, along with his associates Joyous Lifting and Sullen Plummet, were the leaders of the ill-fated project to launch the Melnorme Probes to explore nearby space, and he and Zelnick worked together to stop the potential disaster that they became.
