Vlik is the home planet of the Supox Utricularia, who live on its fertile surface in symbiotic relationship with the other Flora and Fauna of their planet — the Supox provide "reproductive assistance" in exchange for nutrients, opposite of what happens on Earth, where plants provide food to insects that pollinate them. The name means "Earth" in our language, or more accurately, "Perfectly Good and Nutritious Dirt".
The green star of Beta Librae, or Root as they call it, lovingly warms the planet's surface.
