The Antimatter Thrusters, also known as Fusion Thrusters, increase The Flagship's acceleration and top speed, which allows for faster travel through HyperSpace and provides for easier escape from pursuers. On The Flagship, there are slots for 11 pairs of thrusters. For each two pairs of thrusters, the ship's maximum speed increases by four (the maximum velocity rating, as displayed on the outfit screen of the Earth Starbase, increases by eight units for each pair). The thrusters cost 500 RU per pair.
