It should be noted that this theme was also used as the title music of the Genesis version of Star Control I, although the two tracks were arranged a bit differently. This song also served as the title theme to the Amiga version of Star Control, with the major difference being a sound sample that plays near the very end. This sound sample announced the name of the entertainment title itself, in rather epic fashion: "Star Control!"
