Reality phase is the term coined by the Androsynth scientists (as translated by Bukowski) to describe the difference between the laws of different dimensions.
It is unknown whether it can be measured or not, though references by the Orz to dimensions as "*above*" or "*below*" (and a possible reference to reality phase as "*colors*") may hint to the former.
