Reality phase is the term coined by the Androsynth scientists (as translated by Bukowski) to describe the difference between the laws of different dimensions.
It is unknown whether it can be measured or not, though if the Orz words "*above*" and "*below*" refer to dimensions, the former is probably true. The Orz dialogue also contains a possible reference to reality phase as "*colors*".
